Eligible pre-K–adult educators and educator preparation faculty will be appointed by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) to participate in test development conferences.
Opportunities for participation include:
Content Advisory Committee member. Educators who are subject matter experts will be asked to review draft test materials which include test objectives and test items. Content Advisory Committee members may also assist the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) in other development activities.
Bias Review Committee member. Educators will review test materials for potential sources of bias according to established review criteria pertaining to test content, language, offense, stereotypes, and diversity. Members will make recommendations that will help prevent potential bias that would disadvantage a person because of her or his gender, race, nationality, ethnicity, religion, age, disability, or cultural, economic, or geographic background.
