Eligibility

Qualifications

Eligible members of a Subject Matter Advisory Panel (SMAP) include:

• current or recent California public school classroom teachers with the credentials to provide instruction in one or more subject areas covered by the examination under development.
• current or recent California administrators who provide services at the school, district, or county levels related to one or more subject areas covered by an examination under development.
• distinguished faculty members of California educator preparation programs who provide instruction to educator candidates in one or more subject areas covered by an examination under development.
• California curriculum specialists in one or more subject areas covered by an examination under development.
